

Kaito Mizukoshi 水越 海翔

Kaito Mizukoshi, originally from Toyohashi, Japan, graduated from Aichi Prefectural Jishukan High School in 2019. He completed his undergraduate studies in Management Science at University College London (UCL) and earned his master's degree there in 2024. Deeply engaged in the field of education, Kaito served for six years as the official Japanese Student Ambassador for the University of London. He has delivered numerous lectures on studying abroad at prestigious high schools across Japan and has promoted arts education by hosting exclusive piano recital programs.
In recognition of his leadership and contributions to education, he was honored with the Young Leadership Award at the "Education 2.0" international conference held in Dubai, UAE, in 2024. Currently, Kaito works as a strategy consultant at Nomura Research Institute (NRI) in Tokyo, specializing in marketing strategy consulting.
As a classical pianist, Kaito is recognized as a leading artist of the new generation. In Japan, he studied under Junko Komatsu and Saori Nobata, and in the UK, he trained with Łukasz Krupiński. In 2022, he participated in a masterclass led by Mihály Berecz at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, and in the summer of 2024, he pursued further studies under Connie Shih at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. During his time in the UK, he not only performed actively but also founded the student music foundation UCLef, delivering classical music performances to socially disadvantaged communities.
Kaito is passionate about exploring new possibilities by fusing classical music with contemporary art. In 2022, he collaborated with digital architect and artist Gregorian Tant to premiere "Light and Shadow," an innovative recital program blending music and digital art. Since then, he has continued performing with diverse artists across the UK and Japan, striving to create more inclusive and forward-looking classical music experiences. In 2024, he further collaborated with art director Momo Sakai to present groundbreaking concerts in both Japan and the UK. As a freelance pianist, he continues to perform at various events, pushing the boundaries of classical music today.
